The Hydro 02 skin treatment combines 8 technologies in one. This exclusive treatment is known as the ‘Super Facial’ this includes deep cleansing, exfoliation, oxygenation, hydration, skin lifting, skin tightening, fire and ice and LED (Michaela’s added extra)!

STAGE ONE:

The first stage begins with a deep cleanse using the hydro peel (a vacuum) which incorporates a combination of AHAs and BHA solutions to smooth out the skin, remove all those impurities including dead skin cells, blackheads, whiteheads and improve inflammation. At the same time, it hydrates and nourishes the skin using an RH-Oligopeptide-1 and Acetyl Hexapeptide base.

STAGE TWO:

The second stage incorporates oxygenation skin resurfacing creating ‘the Bohr effect’, allowing oxygen to be drawn into the skin. The active ingredients used are kojic acid and retinol (a retinol free alternative is available for those who cannot tolerate retinol) which result in a hydrating and brightening effect.

STAGE THREE:

At the third stage the skin is infused with ‘specialist’ ingredients via an oxygenation spray. This helps to increase cell metabolism,blood flow to the cell increasing regeneration. It also helps to minimise free radical damage attracting immune cells giving an anti-inflammatory benefit to the skin. Anti-bacterial effects are also evident.

STAGE FOUR:

The fourth stage applies ultrasound technology for anti-ageing and to further infuse the product into the skin in areas where fine lines and wrinkles are likely to appear. Its thermal action has a stimulating effect on the blood flow and activates cell metabolism. The biochemical effects trigger a micro-massage in the tissue influencing the fibroblasts to stimulate new collagen.

STAGE FIVE:

This stage uses electroporation to revitalise, lift and ‘wake up’ dull and lifeless skin.

STAGE SIX:

The sixth stage utilises Tri-polar Radio Frequency to stimulate the fibroblast activity within the dermis to encourage new collagen growth. This has a tightening effect on the skin.

STAGE SEVEN:

Stage Seven combines fire and ice – The ‘fire’ represents the heat element during the treatment. Heat is incorporated to dilate the pores for deep cleansing, increase blood supply, and aid product infusion. Also helping to repair and strengthen the skin elasticity, the‘Cryo’ uses cooling technology, chilling the skin down to 5 ̊C. This is used at the end of each facial to decrease the blood supply, giving a tightening effect, and sealing in the infused products. This also helps to calm any redness following the treatment.

STAGE EIGHT (Optional):

The treatment then concludes with some LED therapy to further promote results.
